About this ring
Just a smidgen shy of 1 inch long, striking and exceedingly lovely, this unique late-nineteenth century dinner ring, hand fabricated in 18K rose gold, centers on a half-carat, vibrant red ruby of Burma origin. The colorful gemstone is accompanied north and south by pairs of sparkling white old mine-cut diamonds, together weighing 1.32 carats, while small rose-cut diamonds glint from the bypass style shoulders. Circa 1900. Total diamond weight, 1.45 carats. Currently ring size 6 3/4.
