This nineteenth century necklace could have been snatched from a Hans Holbein portrait painting (circa 1500s). Lightly and lovingly hand fabricated in 18K yellow gold, the ornately sculpted centerpiece features a pair of light pastel blue aquamarines (a central oval and a pear-shaped drop) embellished all around in multichromatic enamel amid scroll and foliate design motifs, all of which suspend from fanciful matching necklace links.
