About this bracelet
A chic and popular motif during the Victorian era, buckles were often used in ring and bracelet designs. One Victorian jeweler with an edgy attitude created this cool, stylized architectural version. Hand fabricated in 14K yellow gold, circa 1880, the wide bangle base is topped by a chevron-shaped focal piece, embellished with natural pearls and midnight-blue enamel, which brightens the bar elements. Columns of pearls framed in enamel complete this unique variation on a theme. Measures 7 1/2 inches.
