About this necklace
How lovely—a snowflake clover. Whether or not it was the intent of the jeweler, this lustrous and sparkling pendant/brooch is a delightful blend of the two. Surrounding a single natural pearl is a trio of the same, embellished with arcs of glittering European-cut diamonds and interspersed by smaller pearls topped by diamonds. Total diamond weight, 1.10 carats. Hand fabricated in 14K gold, circa 1890, it suspends from an 18-inch chain and can also be worn as a brooch.
