About this necklace
Crafted by hand in silver over rose gold, this colorful Victorian butterfly pendant/brooch is adorned with beautiful gem-set wings and body. Sapphires, rubies, rose-cut diamonds, and pearls all glisten throughout the openwork piece, topped off with tiny emerald eyes. A delightful nature-inspired jewel, with a 1 3/8-inch wingspan. Total diamond weight - .50 carat, total gemstone weight - 1.67 carats. Hand fabricated in sterling silver over 14k, circa 1885. Chain measures 17 inches.
