Exquisitely hand fabricated in 14K gold (with a mix of 14K and 12K in some parts), the brooch features a native gold-in-quartz and a translucent rose-tone dendritic quartz set atop an elaborate openwork design, evocative of a crown, accented with black enamel tracery and textured with coin edging. In a statement against the static, a gold-in-quartz dangle dances below. The beautiful time-earned patina adds a rich warmth to this exceptional work of art that, along with the matching earrings, is a rare and and versatile collectible treasure. Circa mid-to-late 1800s.
