About this bracelet
Produced from the late 1860s through the late 1910s, Austro-Hungarian jewelry is known for being lavishly decorated with colorful gemstones, exquisite enamel work, and intricate designs. But it also had a more subdued, though no less fabulous, side. A study in sparkle, this curvaceous bracelet features a navette-shaped focal piece centered by a trio of bezel-set old mine-cut diamonds in a surround pierced to create 'rays' glittering with smaller old mine cuts. The effervescent assemblage connects to slender rectangular links, providing a lovely show of light and a bright bit of history from an empire of times past. Total diamond weight, 1.99 carats. Hand fabricated in silver over 14K gold, it measures 7 inches.
