Twinkle, twinkle, little star. However, in this case, twinkling is a gross understatement. This Victorian cluster pendant sparkles unabashedly with nine chunky, super-white old mine-cut diamonds in buttercup settings, the center one framed by an 8-pointed star, all of which are dramatically outlined in black enamel tracery. The miniature galaxy rests upon a scalloped gallery and suspends from an 18-inch chain and is ready to light up the night—or day. Total diamond weight, 2.00 carats. Hand fabricated in 18K yellow gold, very likely of late-19th century French origin.
