The large black agate that gleams in this striking Victorian brooch is decorated by nature with a contrasting white band that, like a small stream, follows its own course around the rim of the stone. Set in a fancy openwork frame fashioned with classic Victorian ornamentation, the stone is a miniature masterpiece of the earth. Hand fabricated in 14K gold (pin stem is base metal). Measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches.
