Gold woven into a mesh 'fabric,' bearing a slight waviness and lovely patina that comes with the frequent wearing of a favorite piece, gives form to this Victorian-era jewel. Lithe with a tantalizing texture, the bracelet closes with an art piece of a clasp featuring a column of lively old mine-cut diamonds, strikingly set against black enamel surrounded by a fancy engraved frame with cannetille embellishments. Beautifully preserved to begin a second life with you. Total diamond weight, .82 carat. Hand-fabricated in 18K yellow gold (parts of clasp are 14K gold), circa 1880, it measures 7 inches.
