This marvelous mid-twentieth-century high-fashion ring centers on a translucent 6.00 carat cornflower-blue cabochon sapphire, tinged with just a hint of lavender, nestled in the center of a reflective concave crown. The glowing gemstone is embraced top and bottom by double baguette diamonds set in platinum at an angle and is bordered left and right by a beveled row of bright white sparklers. A wonderful work of Retro jewelry sculpture, circa the 1940s-50s. Total diamond weight, .80 carat. Currently ring size 6 3/4. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratories stating: Natural. No Indications of thermal enhancement. Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin.
