92 high-color, original Carré-cut diamonds (essentially rectangular and square emerald-cuts with large tables and no cut corners), totaling 44.00 carats, create a seamless gleaming river of bright-white flash and sparkle in this gorgeous necklace, handcrafted in platinum during the mid-20th century. The diamonds gently graduate from .80 carats in the center to .20 carats at the back. However, due to the spreadier cuts of Carré diamonds, they present considerably larger than conventional emerald cuts.
