About this ring
A large and luminous twilight blue cabochon sapphire, mysteriously imbued by Mother Nature with a shimmering white star (a.k.a. asterism), glistens and glows between quartets of small sparkling diamonds, in this classic cocktail ring hand-fabricated in platinum circa the 1950s. Although measuring 21.00 carats, due to its expert cutting, the enchanting gemstone has the outline of a considerably larger stone. A gorgeous vintage jewel—reminiscent of those designed during the Golden Age of Hollywood—created by the noted Philadelphia jeweler Marshal Littman. Total diamond weight, .45 carat. Currently ring size 6 1/2.
