These striking and artsy ear clips by one of the world's most distinctive jewelers, Marsh and Co., formerly of San Francisco (circa mid-20th century), have attained classic status. Crafted in their signature blackened steel—embellished in striking contrast by gold flowers—they feature bright gold beads, instead of the usual cultured pearls, that dangle inside circular openings. The earrings attach to the ear using a cleverly engineered invisible hinge mechanism. Although earrings of this style are among Marsh's most common and recognizable designs, they have become increasingly scarce (especially this gold bead version) and are, hence, quite a cool collectible.
