Artfully handcrafted in darkly oxidized silver over gold, circa 1900, this dramatically striking late-Victorian pendant (formerly a brooch) measures an impressive 1 1/4 inches across by 1 3/4 inch high and sparkles with 2.00 carats (including an .80 carat center stone) of bright white old mine and rose cut diamonds, arrayed over a gently domed oval of lacy openwork. Singular and stunning. The pendant suspends from an 18-inch darkened silver chain.
