About this necklace
This majestic cross necklace, of clerical proportions (the cross measures 3 1/2 inches, the chain measures 18 inches), is an original Victorian era masterpiece. The cross is artfully and strikingly adorned with Etruscan Revival style ornamentation, while the detachable neck chain is composed of finely fluted circular links connected by ribbed links with additional miniature gaspipe textured figure-8's on the sides. All of which are beautifully rendered in warmly burnished 14K yellow gold, circa 1875. Divine.
