So bold, so glamorous--so Retro! Nothing says Retro like lots of gold, rubies and moonstones, and this flat-out fabulous pendant/brooch has them all. An expanse of brightly gleaming gold, artfully shaped as a stylized heart, glows at the top with a moonstone presenting a billowy blue sheen, embraced by a ribbon of shimmering single-cut diamonds and by crescent that glimmers with graduated electric cherry-red rubies. A second unseen heart peaks out from one side boasting a moonstone and a single ruby. A bodacious beauty. Total diamond weight - .25 carat, total gemstone weight - 7.33 carats (ruby total weight, 4.00 carats). Hand fabricated in 14K rose and yellow gold, circa 1940s. Pin stem is 14K white gold.
