About this ring

The closest star to Earth is an unfathomable 4.24 light-years away. Now, you can have a dazzling star of your own--courtesy of Lang--and you can gaze at it all day long, no telescope required. In this breathtakingly stunning and impressive showstopper, an 8.23 carat European-cut diamond sparkles spectacularly atop a newly made* vintage-style mounting, hand fabricated in gleaming platinum. The radiant rock is enhanced all around with a slatted pierced gallery and shines brightly between gently curved shoulders set with tiny (non-conflict) round diamonds. Extraordinary! *We have distilled and refined the enduring elegance of early-20th-century styles to newly present original vintage diamonds in our own line of vintage-inspired engagement rings. The center stone dates from the early-20th-century (circa 1930), and is accompanied by a GIA Grading Report stating: K color - VS1 clarity. (However, what make this scintillating stone particularly alluring is the fact that, instead of the usual yellow overtone, the diamond has a faint brown tinge that effectively faces up white.) Currently ring size 6 1/2.
