Measuring just shy of 3 inches long, and superbly hand fabricated in silver over 18K rose gold, this ravishing and romantic hardstone cameo lavalière pendant, from late-19th century France, features an elegant neoclassical muse draped in a diaphanous white gown, artfully hand carved in glossy black sardonyx. Glittering rose-cut diamonds and a trio of natural pearls highlight the elegantly stylized lyre motif. An exquisite antique jewel. The newer darkened silver chain measures 18 inches.
