About this piece
A tisket a tasket, a sparkling diamond basket. Although the brown and yellow basket that Ella Fitzgerald sang about was sadly lost, no such misfortune will befall this delightful, glittering jewel. An exquisite openwork confection, a handfull of flowers rest in a woven basket with a bow-topped handle, all of which shine brightly with rose and old mine-cut diamonds. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K gold, the sturdy pin back ensures that it will stay securely in your possession, while adding floral flair to your ensemble. Total diamond weight, 1.00 carat. By way of France, circa 1900.
