Consummate 1920s French Art Deco artistry is in full flower in this chic, sophisticated, and stunning double-circle brooch. Masterfully hand fabricated in platinum, it is embellished on each side with sparkling diamond-set bouquets strikingly accented with synthetic* buff-cut calibre sapphires. The maker's mark indicates by Thuillier. Total diamond weight, 2.75 carats. 18K white gold pin stem. *Circa the 1920s-30s, synthetic sapphires--because of their color consistency and flawless clarity--were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, the differences between the two discernible only with a microscope and trained eye.
