About this piece
Russian Empress Elizabeth Petrovna reigned from 1741 until her death in 1762. Here, she is immortalized in rare gold Russian one ruble coins dating from 1756-58 (the actual dates appear on the reverse above the double eagle but are hidden under the bezels). Colored in glossy orange-vermilion enamel and framed in glittering rose-cut diamonds, these exceedingly rare and coveted collectable cuff links were created by the renowned house of Russian masterworks--Faberge. Hallmarks: 56, St. Petersburg Town Mark-Crossed Arrows and Scepter (Pre-1899), K and Omega, Hand Numbered N 28356.
