About this ring
Named after the highly famed gemologist and mineralist, George F. Kunz (hired by Tiffany & Co. at the age of 23 as their head gemologist), Kunzite has an enchanting light rose-violet hue. Because it is found as large crystals, it can be cut into sizable gemstones, like the one in this utterly stunning ring. Weighing 19.67 carats, the emerald-cut stone is elegantly framed by a halo of expertly pavé-set icy-white round brilliant-cut diamonds that flow down the sides in lamé-like fashion, creating a gorgeously glittering under gallery and shoulders. A truly magnificent jewel for adding to or starting your statement ring collection. Total diamond weight, 2.88 carats. Crafted in complementing 18K rose gold, it is currently ring size 7 1/4. Note: Kunzite's color will fade over time if regularly exposed to strong sunlight.
