A beautifully patinated gold background is lavishly hand engraved and decorated with a pomegranate tree. Its textured white gold branches extend from a diamond-set trunk and bear a profusion of leaves, each leaf shimmering around a pomegrante that reveals tiny glimmering blue sapphire "seeds." <em>Molto bello</em>! Decorative engraving on the back adds the final delightful detail to this artful accessory and collectable. Mid-20th Century. Total diamond weight, .50 carat; total sapphire weight, 1.50 carats. Rendered in 18K two-tone gold. Measures three inches in diameter.
