What a doozy! This decidedly different estate dome ring (possibly from the 1980s) is punctuated by a cluster of super-sparkling European- and round brilliant-cut diamonds, and appears ready for takeoff by means of wings (propellers?) scintillating with single-cut diamonds. The dynamic assemblage shines in a surround of sweeping gold swirls fashioned with a ribbed brick-like pattern that extends to the flared split shoulders. Woo hoo—what throwback! Total diamond weight - .68 carat. Crafted in 18K yellow and white gold, it is currently ring size 6 1/4.
