About this ring

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While the Incans, in what is now Colombia, had been using emeralds in jewelry 500 years before Spanish explorers set foot in the New World, the emeralds taken back to Europe by said explorers were considered less valuable than gold and silver. They traded emeralds for metals, thereby introducing Europe and Asia to this magnificent gem. Both the precious gem and metal—and diamonds!—compose this classically styled estate ring. Imbued with an intensely vibrant bluish-green hue, a 1.60 carat emerald glows between dazzling trillion-cut diamonds, elevated by a bold high-polish 18K yellow gold shank, and is awaiting your discovery. Total diamond weight, .70 carat. Currently ring size 5 1/2. GIA gemological report states: Colombia origin. Minor clarity enhancement (F1).
