Coronate yourself or your loved one with this stunning Edwardian-era crown brooch, hand-fabricated in platinum over gold during the first or second decade of the twentieth century. A quintet of faceted pear-shaped sapphires, totaling 2.00 carats, is enveloped by small sparkling white European-cut diamonds topped with a lustrous seed pearl finial. Fit for a queen, or at the very least a princess. The delightful diadem can also be worn as a pendant (chain measures 15 12 inches). Total diamond weight, .50 carat. Note: the sapphires' characteristics indicate they are from the Yogo Gulch region in Montana, USA, which produces sapphires of unusually high clarity, with a lovely light cornflower blue color.
