A gorgeous 1.45 carat ultra-vibrant electric candy apple-red (wait till you see it in person!) natural no-heat ruby is the mesmerizing centerpiece of this exquisite original Edwardian bombé-style three-stone ring. The enchanting bezel-set gem is highlighted on each side by a bright and shining 1.00 carat-plus European-cut diamond (total weight, 2.10 carats) set in platinum bezels. Delicately pierced openwork creates a graceful, neoclassical scrolled foliate design, leading to a hand-engraved ring shank in this superb and stunning Edwardian jewel, dating back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 6 1/4. GIA gemological report states: No heat. Inconclusive origin (however, Burmese would be the most logical assumption).
