A shimmering confection of platinum and diamonds, this elegant Edwardian pendant/brooch, dating back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century, is a striking presentation of circles and lines. A luminous creamy white natural pearl gleams at its center against a backdrop of vertical filigree work, embellished with concentric circles set with scintillating single-cut diamonds, while the outer circle wraps around four diamond-set flowers. A captivating, light-reflecting composition that can be worn as a necklace or a brooch. Total diamond weight, 2.00 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum (the pin mechanism is 18K yellow gold and can be screwed off). Chain measures 18 inches.
