About this ring
A rare, wonderful and highly distinctive natural jade and diamond dinner ring from the early-twentieth century. The sizable (almost 1 and 1/4 inches long) Edwardian ring features a lozenge-shape jadeite (measuring 11/16 by 7/16 inch), displaying a mottled Kelly-green color, bezel set in a consummate openwork diamond frame, crafted in platinum and transitioning into a yellow gold ring shank (which may have been replaced at a later date). This singular and sensational antique jewel is accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Labs stating natural color, Burmese origin. Size 5 3/4 ring shank.
