About this necklace
Dating back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century, this Edwardian pendant/brooch is perfect! It has diamonds, (natural) pearls, and a fancy design at a size that's just right to wear day or night. Centered by a lustrous button pearl with a shimmering iridescence, its openwork form of graceful scrolls glitters with European-cut and Swiss-cut diamonds, with a larger antique oval diamond and a European cut round stone sparkling brightly north and south, respectively. A trio of pearls adds extra luster to this lovely jewel that will elevate any ensemble. Total diamond weight, 1.40 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K gold. Formerly a brooch, it now suspends from an 18-inch platinum chain. Condition note: one small pearl is a replacement cultured pearl
