This sensational sapphire and diamond ring, dating back to the early 20th century, displays the icy white platinum laciness--along with a beautiful domed shape--characteristic of the Edwardian era. The star of the show, however, is a gorgeous 3.80 carat Ceylon sapphire. The rich royal blue gemstone is embraced on each side by a sparkling white European cut diamond, all enhanced by a surround of masterfully wrought filigree sprinkled with tiny glistening round diamonds.
