Sometimes, it's the slightest whisper of ornament that catches the eye. Such is the case with this exquisitely understated Belle Époque bar brooch. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K yellow gold, it shines with alternating quartets of glinting rose-cut diamonds and bright raspberry-red rubies*. A lovely dash of color and light by way of France, circa 1890-1900. Total ruby weight, .50 carat. *Half of the rubies are natural, half are synthetic, all are original to the piece.
