Understandably, the beauty of the female face and figure was a highly favored subject of Art Nouveau artisans. This arresting pendant presents a femme en habille ('dressed' in French) adorned with a necklace of glittering rose-cut diamonds and set against a free-from background colored with spring green, yellow, and orange enamel with a softly gleaming matte finish. Decorated with an elegant scroll design on the reverse side, the pendant suspends from an 18-inch chain by way of a fluted bail. Hand fabricated in 18K yellow gold. The bail is 15K yellow gold.
