About this ring

In this superlative and utterly impressive Art Deco dinner ring, a seamless vertical flash of intense sparkle is created by a central 1.74 carat European-cut diamond that rubs shoulders north and south with a pair of European cuts, weighing over a carat each, bringing their total weight to 3.96 carats. Hand-fabricated in platinum during the peak of the period, circa 1925, the scintillating trio is outlined by overlapping octagonal frames set with small single-cut diamonds, the center of which leads to diamond-set tapered tripartite shoulders. Intricate open scrollwork and inverted heart motifs ornament the side gallery, while neoclassical hand-engraving adds exquisite detail to the ring shank. Fine millegrain edging throughout adds a touch of texture to this lustrous and absolutely stunning jewel that measures 1 1/8 inches long. Total diamond weight, 4.56 carats. Currently ring size 6 3/4. Center diamond accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: N color - VS1 clarity.
