As if sapphires were not fabulous enough, this one changes color! Bearing a lovely lozenge shape, the enchanting 3.25 carat stone shifts from hues of violet-blue to purple. Set in a millegrain-edged bezel, its beauty is highlighted by a frame of glittering modern European-cut diamonds, all of which are supported by shoulders set with royal blue calibre sapphires. A lacy openwork under gallery adds the finishing flourish to this arresting Art Deco-style jewel. Total diamond weight - .50 carat, total sapphire weight - 3.66 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, it is currently ring size 7 1/2. GIA gemological report states: Heated. Violetish blue changing to purple. Sri Lanka origin.
