And though we usually focus on the bright white sparkle of diamonds, the stone in this arresting Art Deco ring captivates with vibrant prismatic sparks. Weighing 2.11 carats, the old mine-cut stone (circa 1920) crowns an exquisite gallery, pierced and frosted with European-cut diamonds, and is supported by gently flared diamond-set shoulders. Fine millegrain edging throughout adds subtle textured detail to this stunning jewel of light and color. Total diamond weight, 2.66 carats. Crafted in platinum, it is currently ring size 6 3/4. GIA Diamond Grading Report states: K color - VS1 clarity.
