Is it a cool piece of art for display or a ring for your hand? It's both! This marvelous Art Deco ring is an artistic masterpiece of design and detail. A vibrant, clear cornflower blue synthetic* sapphire (reduces the price by at least 20K), weighing approximately 9.50 carats, is highlighted north and south with a colorful geometric enameled design and on each side with crescents of tiny seed pearls. This utterly captivating creation is supported by intricately decorated shoulders, which lead to an engraved shank. Superb! Hand fabricated in two-tone 14K gold. Currently ring size 4 1/2. The maker's mark indicates by J.J. White of Providence Rhode Island. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their color consistency and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires (more usually incorporated as accent stones) were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, their subtle differences only detectable with a microscope.
