About these earrings
Laying close to your lobes, these curvy square disks (formerly a pair of cuff links) pop with color and sparkle. Hand fabricated in platinum over 14K gold, these Art Deco ear studs are mini checkerboards of twinkling diamonds--European, Swiss, and single cuts--and lozenge-shaped raspberry-red red rubies--with a square cut synthetic* ruby gleaming in the center. Total natural ruby weight, .32 carat. Condition note: stones show wear commensurate with the age of the earrings. *Back in the day, the 1920s-30s, synthetic rubies were used for their color consistency and flawless clarity, their differences from natural rubies discernible only with a microscope.
