About this necklace
This dreamy lozenge-shaped pendant necklace dates from the zenith of the Art Deco period, circa 1925. The shimmering frosted crystal background centers on a high-color and quality transitional-cut diamond, weighing just under 1.00 carat, sparkling from within a platinum bezel fancifully framed with small glittering diamonds. The curvaceous borders are adorned with a lovely hand-engraved foliate motif and dotted on the corners with four grayish-white seed pearls. Thoroughly enchanting. Total diamond weight, 1.25 carats. Chain measures 16 inches. Hand fabricated in platinum, the newer chain measures 16 inches.
