Glorious black & white. This classic Art Deco jewel presents many of the characteristic design elements of the era in one modestly sized—and striking—brooch. A carved frosted rock crystal plaque, shining at its center with a marquise diamond, glitters around its perimeter with lively single-cut diamonds punctuated by pairs of baguettes. In bold and dramatic contrast, this white-on-white composition rests atop a scallop-edged glossy black onyx plaque, creating a dynamic dash of Jazz Age chic for your ensemble. Total diamond weight, 1.00 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1920 (pin stem and mechanism are 14K white gold).
