Shining in octagonal splendor, this bold and sleekly styled Art Deco jewel, circa the 1920s-30s, captures the eye and makes a stunning statement on your finger with a 1.80 carat octagonal royal blue Cambodian* sapphire framed by double halos of the eight-sided shape set with supremely white, high-quality, sparkling European-cut diamonds. The under gallery and openwork shoulders lend support, their design complementing the composition's crisp geometric lines. Total diamond weight, 2.35 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, it is currently ring size 5 1/4. GIA Gemological Report states: No heat. Cambodian origin. *Of all sapphires, the silken, velvety quality and cobalt blue hue of Pailin (Cambodia) sapphires most resemble the rare, prized sapphires from Kashmir, and this enchanting gemstone is no exception.
