About this ring
Not every work of art is on display in a museum; some—like this exquisite jewel from renowned San Francisco jeweler Marsh & Co.—are designed to wear on your finger. Hand-fabricated in platinum - circa 1930 - it presents a striking combination of color and sparkle. A bright and happy green saddle-shaped jade is embraced by curved rows of gleaming calibre onyx and glittering European-cut diamonds and is accented on each end with an openwork scroll design that creates a charming heart shape. Adding elegant finishing details, the gallery and three sides of the shank are finely hand-engraved with neoclassical patterns. Curated with you in mind. (Signature is mostly worn away. The M... remains, however, we know jewels by Marsh when we see them - guaranteed.) Currently ring size 8 1/2. Gemological report from Stone Group Laboratories states: Natural, no indications of polymers or dyes.
