A lattice of sparkling light and dramatic negative space (effective against any color), this meticulously crafted Art Deco brooch is an openwork masterpiece of platinum and diamonds. Anchored by a bright .45 carat round brilliant-cut, its airy design features a diagonal sash bordered with European-cut diamonds and glittering with a random pattern of single cuts. Diamond-set floral motifs decorate the corners, while lively European-cuts create a frame of sparkle along the perimeter of this delightfully unique jewel. Total diamond weight, 3.60 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum (pin stem and mechanism are 18K yellow gold), it measures just shy of 2 inches by just over 1 inch.
