Modern Art Deco geometry combines with feminine floral flourishes in this dazzling and sophisticated platinum and diamond brooch, circa 1920s-'30s. A transparent backdrop of horizontal, finely millegrained knife wirework is framed by sparkling transitional European-cut diamonds and is overlaid, left and right, with a flowing flower design. The center shines brightly with a dramatic double-bullet shape diamond, weighing .35 carat, shimmering atop a baguette diamond and embraced on each side by sparkling diamond wings. Tiny calibre green flower stems add the finishing touch to this uniquely stunning original Art Deco jewel. 2.10 carats total diamond weight. Measures just over 1 1/2 inches by 3/4 inch.
