About this bracelet
As a teenager, Abraham-Louis Breguet began his apprenticeship as a watchmaker in Versailles and Paris, opening his own workshop in 1775 on the Île de la Cité in Paris. Having provided timepieces to, among others, Napoleon Bonaparte and Alexander I, the tsar of Russia, Breguet brought breakthrough innovations to the horological world and continues to offer exquisite watches. This one, a glittering confection of single, European, marquise, and baguette diamonds, has a slender rectangular face with Arabic numerals and is engraved on the sides with a millegrain-edged scroll design. Although it has a Swiss 17-jewel movement, its time-telling days are a thing of the past: it is now a stunning jewel to wrap your wrist, and a fascinating piece of history. Total diamond weight, 3.50 carats. Crafted in platinum, it measures 6 1/4 inches.
