Art Deco Charm Bangle Bracelet

Charming barely begins to describe this chic, unique and magnifique wrist bauble measuring 2 inches wide at the center. The artfully styled overlapping ribbon design of the hinged bangle, hand fabricated in two-tone 14K gold, circa 1940s-50s, is pierced and overlaid with a half dozen remarkable and sizable platinum charms dating back to the zenith of the Art Deco period, circa 1925 - a successful May-December marriage! The charms are: a diamond-set, green-eyed *synthetic sapphire-eared elephant; an opal, carved ruby and calibre sapphire flower basket; a heart-shaped synthetic ruby and diamond pierced heart; a diamond, calibre sapphire and ruby trireme (ancient galley ship); diamond and ruby golf bag and clubs, and a glittering diamond songbird.
