Measuring just over 3/4-inch long, this distinctively striking Art Deco dinner ring, hand fabricated in platinum, circa the 1920s-30s, gleams in the center with a trio of bright white and shining baguette diamonds outlined with slender scissor-cut calibre synthetic* sapphires. These, in turn, are framed by sparkling European-cut diamonds, bringing the total diamond weight of this scintillating sensation to 1.50 carats. Stunning! Currently ring size 6 1/4. *Circa the 1920s-30s, synthetic sapphires--because of their color consistency and flawless clarity--were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, the differences between the two discernible only with a microscope and trained eye.
