A stunning structure. This arresting ring catches the attention with a bold rectangular top centered by a striking 2.00 carat oval, natural, no-heat Ceylon sapphire in a glowing cobalt blue, set in 18K yellow gold. On each side, a duo of diamonds—a mix of old mine and European cuts—shines alongside pairs of tiny rose-cut stones, while the wide flared shoulders make a sheer drop that seamlessly blends into the shank. Quintessential late Art Deco engraving on the side gallery adds the finishing detail to this uncommonly cool jewel. Total diamond weight, .71 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum (top plate of ring), 18K white gold (shank), and 18K yellow gold (sapphire bezel). Circa 1930. Due to the ring's construction, it is an unsizeable 4 3/4. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural. No indication of thermal enhancement. Ceylon - origin.
