About this ring
This original, highly distinctive Art Deco dazzler, hand fabricated in platinum, circa the 1920s-30s, shines front and center with a bright white and sparkling 1.30 carat European-cut diamond. The elaborately designed multidimensional mounting frames the stone on all sides with small glittering single-cut diamonds accented at the corners with diamond-shaped dark blue synthetic* sapphires for a stunning and sophisticated effect. The currently size 6 3/4 ring shank is hand engraved on three sides, as is the ring's supportive under gallery. Singular and sensational! The top measures 5/8 inch diagonal. Accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: J color - SI2 clarity. *Circa the 1920s-30s, synthetic sapphires--because of their color consistency and flawless clarity--were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, the differences between the two discernible only with a microscope and trained eye.
